Afforestation program star

Afforestation program starts in Kassala, Central, East, West Darfur and South Kordofan state. This program is a part of the forestry component. It includes three activities: forest farming, shelter belts and women’s nurseries. The activities begin after the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Higher Council for Environment and Natural Resources and the National Forestry Corporation.
