Safety and protection equipment for workers in the field of waste transportation provided by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)

JICA handed over the Personal Protective Items to Higher Council for Environment and Natural Resources (HCENR) to help protect waste collection workers from COVID-19. The items include masks, safety shoes, gloves, and uniforms. Secretary General of HCENR was present and received the items saying that this contribution from JICA is very much appreciated to make waste collection workers safe from harms such as Infectious diseases and injuries.

This support is a part of JICA technical cooperation “Clean Cities Project in Sudan”, which is about to launch in this month.
