The Higher Council for Environment and National Resources (HCNER) and the Forests National Corporation (FNC) sign a memorandum of understanding
The Higher Council for Environment and Natural Resources and the Forests National Corporation signed a framework memorandum of understanding. The aim memorandum is to implement forest activities in the project Building Resilience in the Face of Climate
Change within Traditional Rain fed Agricultural and Pastoral Systems in Sudan. The memorandum was signed by Suleiman Al-Buni (HCNER) and Anwar Abdel Hamid General manger of FNC. Under the memorandum of understanding, the FNC should establish women’s nurseries, shelter belts, and forest farming in the project areas through their offices in the states. These activities are part of build community resilience in East, West and Central Darfur states, West and South Kordofan, Kassala, Red Sea, North and Khartoum state.The two sides are happy when signing the memorandum. This signature will enhance the bonds of cooperation between the two institutions to achieve their common goals which will benefit the target groups and enhance the environment.
